The Recording Secretary is responsible for attending the 4 Administrative Council sessions per year (7 pm, 4th Mondays in January, April, July, and October) and preparing minutes of the meeting for the council.
The Board of Trustees meets on 2nd Mondays at 7 pm, and is responsible for the properties owned by Forest Chapel, including the church and its grounds, and the parsonages.
The Chair of Communications is responsible for leading the efforts to more effectively spread the word about events and efforts within the church to the church family and to those outside the church family.
The Chairperson of Learning Ministries is responsible for leading the Christian Education efforts within the church.
The church historian is responsible for making a lasting record of significant events in the life of the church.
Crib and Toddler Room volunteers are needed to assist the one paid position from 9:15 am - 12:30 pm on Sunday mornings.
The Finance Committee meets at 7 pm on the 2nd Mondays of the month. This committee is responsible for the fiduciary health of the church, and oversees all activities relating to finances of the church. There are 3 open positions.
The church Lay Leader is responsible for chairing the Leadership Council (7 pm, 4th Mondays in Feb, Mar, May, Jun, Aug, Sep, Nov, and Dec), and for assuming a leadership role in the spiritual development of the congregation.
