SOUL(Serving Others Unto the Lord) Ministries

SOUL Ministries is a food pantry that serves individuals and families in our community.  SOUL Pantry is always in need of non-perishable food items, soap, toilet articles, paper and cleaning supplies to help serve their clients. The people who are served by SOUL are not only residents of Springdale, Greenhills and Forest Park, but also anyone who is a member of one of the churches that support SOUL. Please continue to bring items and deposit them in the wooden colection boxes in the office hallway, outside of Fellowship Hall and in the cloakroom outside the Sanctuary.  Clothing items are also received as donations, too

School supplies have been collected for this year and will be given to students in Greenhills, Forest Park and Springdale whose families are clients of SOUL Pantry.  The event will be at Atomnement Lutheran Church on August 14 and 15.

The pantry is open for Clients on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, Monda and Wednesday evenings, and the last Saturday of the month.  Clients who live in the area that is served can shop once a month.

If you are interested in learning more about becoming a volunteer with SOUL during shopping hours or becoming part of the first Saturday of the month cleaning crew, please contact mission@forestchapel.org or talk to one of the Mission Team members.
