ABOUT OUR PARISH NURSES

 Marjorie Williams is a graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Wilkes-Barre PA and received a BSNE from the College Misericordia in Dallas PA. She taught medical-surgical nursing at Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Hamilton, Christ Hospital School of Nursing, and Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing.Marjorie retired in 1986 to pursue her interest in Parish Nurse Ministry. Peggy Anderson graduated from the Indianapolis City Hospital in 1947. She was staff nurse at both the Methodist Hospital and Community Hospital in Indianapolis, and also at the Needham Memorial Hospital in Massachusetts. After 9 years as an office nurse and a staff nurse position at Providence Hospital, Peggy retired in 1990. With Marjorie Williams, Peggy founded Forest Chapel's Parish Nurse program in 1996.
